Jorge Masvidal on Ben Askren’s retirement
While speaking to Kevin Iole in a recent interview, Jorge Masvidal discussed the recent retirement of Ben Askren, as the former stated that ‘Funky’ definitely had a fan following of his that he brought over to the sport, following his work in the wrestling background and his stint with Bellator and ONE FC.
However, one thing that Masvidal didn’t appreciate of Askren was the fact that he retired right after two losses in the UFC and instead of getting back on a high horse, the former ONE Welterweight Champion decided to call it a day. (H/T: MMA Mania)
