Losing his pro debut in 2016, Imavov has competed for promotions all over the world. A Thunderstruck Fight League welterweight champion, Imavov joined the UFC in 2020. He is 4-1 with the promotion and is on a three-fight win streak.
The 26-year-old’s last fight was a unanimous decision win against Joaquin Buckley in September.

Strickland made his pro debut in 2008. A King of the Cage middleweight champion, Strickland defended the belt five times. He joined the UFC in 2014. 12-4 with the promotion, Strickland had his six-fight win streak snapped by Alex Pereira, who would end up beating Israel Adesanya for the UFC middleweight title.
This is the second event in a row where Strickland is main eventing. Strickland’s last fight was in December, the last UFC card of 2022. He lost to Jared Cannonier via split decision.
